Final Word in Question Form
The candidates who oppose me in District 5 all seem to have served in some capacity on the city’s boards and committees for years if not decades. They all run now on that experience and promise better communication and transparency if you only vote for them. So my question then (if they have been so adamant that government be accessible to you) is, if all the candidates have served so well for so long in government service, and have done such a good job:
1. Why don’t we NOW have this open-government? 2. Why do we still feel ‘outside the loop’? 3. Why do we not have a strong relationship with our city? 4. WHY DO WE STILL WONDER about our government’s activities??
